“I’m just excited for this one” - Aung La N Sang thrilled to be part of star-studded cast at ONE 168: Denver

Former two-division ONE world champion Aung La N Sang is excited to make his long-awaited return to the Circle in the United States.

Riding an impressive three-fight win streak and on the cusp of a potential title opportunity, the Myanmar Superstar will head to Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado on Friday, September 6 as a part of the promotion's historic ONE 168 card.

There, 'The Burmese Python' will meet undefeated Turkish standout Shamil Erdogan who will be seeking his 10th career victory and second-straight inside the Circle.

During a recent interview with The AllStar, Aung La N Sang expressed his excitement to compete stateside for the first time since his victory over Fan Rong at ONE Fight Night 10.

"I love it, you know, he said. "It’s nice to be [fighting] in the States where I can get everything that I need and also, there’s a lot of Burmese fans in ‘The Mile High City,’ you know. So I’m excited to perform for the American fans and them. So, all in all, I’m just excited for this one."

Aung La N Sang gunning for a fourth-straight win during career resurgence

After dropping both the middleweight and light heavyweight titles in back-to-back bouts against Reinier de Ridder, Aung La N Sang has seen a bit of a career resurgence, earning three finishes in a row against the likes of Yushin Okami, Gilberto Galvao, and the aforementioned Fan Rong.

With another big win on martial arts' biggest global stage, 'The Burmese Python' could find himself with a chance to reclaim the middleweight crown. But to get there, he'll have to go through a man who has never once known defeat.
