In an interview with ONE Championship, the American grappling star shared that she is in the process of building her PC setup and cannot wait to rock out some of her favorite video games on it. She is particularly excited to play first-person shooting games Valorant and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

As she sharpens her skills in gaming, Danielle Kelly is also gearing up for her upcoming fight at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video on February 24 in Bangkok, where she faces judoka Ayaka “Zombie” Miura in a catchweight submission grappling clash.
It will be Danielle Kelly's third outing in the promotion since making her promotional debut in March last year. She has a draw and victory under her belt and is looking to continue rolling into the sport with the hope of competing for a world title in the near future.
Miura, for her part, is a former ONE women’s strawweight world title contender looking to evolve as a fighter and carve a name for herself in submission grappling.
ONE Fight Night 7 will take place on February 24 at the famed Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. All the action from the event will be aired live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.
Danielle Kelly looking to thrive under the pressure of her role in ONE’s submission grappling division
In just a short time, Danielle Kelly has become one of the faces of submission grappling in ONE Championship, a role that she is grateful for and looks to thrive in.
Signed up with the promotion last year, the American grappling ace has chalked up a draw and a victory to date, setting her sights on achieving more moving forward. This is in line with her goal of leading the way in spotlighting her division and the sport of submission grappling in general.
Danielle Kelly shared with ONE in an interview:
“I think, being in this position, I feel pretty blessed but also it's work now. People are watching me, there are more eyes on me. So it made me work harder, and work more. This is a job to me, something I like to do. So I think what I got out of it this year is I think I'm a different grappler. So, yeah, I'm taking it seriously and I'm just really, really grateful to be here and be in a spot that I'm in.”
Danielle Kelly begins her 2023 campaign on February 24 at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video in Bangkok, where she collides with Japanese fighter Ayaka Miura in a catchweight submission grappling showdown. This year, she hopes to compete for a world title.
Apart from her, other athletes making a name for grappling in ONE are Kade Ruotolo, the reigning lightweight submission grappling world champion, and his twin brother Tye, as well as Mikey Musumeci, the flyweight submission grappling world champion.
