Dante Leon, ONE Championship's latest signee to the submission grappling ranks, is motivated to face anyone in the promotion who is willing to test the extent of their grappling abilities against him.
Speaking exclusively with ONE, Leon said:
"As I said in the interview, there are a lot of names out there that, you know, each week I see ONE posting that they've signed new people, and every single one that they've signed, it sparks some interest, whether it's to compete against or whether it's to see that person compete."

This past November, ONE announced the signing of Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) legend Marcelo Garcia. Leon commented on Garcia joining ONE in the same interview:
"You know, signing somebody like Marcelo [Garcia] is absolutely incredible. I'm just so hyped and interested to see him compete and see what he has in store for us."
41-year-old Garcia will make his promotional debut at ONE 170 on Jan. 24, 2025, against fellow grappling icon and Japanese megastar Masakazu Imanari. The event will take place inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
Dante Leon comments on his promotional debut
Dante Leon submitted two-time IBJJF No-Gi World Champion Bruno Pucci just over two minutes into his promotional debut at ONE Fight Night 26 this past Friday, Dec. 6, in the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
In the post-fight interview with Mitch Chilson, the Pedigo Submission Fighting athlete showed his gratitude to ONE and the people of Thailand:
"I never had anything like that, man. That just hit me like a ton of bricks. What is there to say? Thank you, thank you to ONE. ONE has made me feel spoiled on this trip. Thailand is making me feel spoiled. Bangkok has been a home away from home for the whole week."
