Kade Ruotolo plans on serving up a repeat performance of his impressive MMA debut this Friday night. In June, the reigning ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion dawned the four-ounce gloves for the first time and scored a stellar first-round finish against American MMA standout Blake Cooper at ONE 167.
Happy with his performance, Ruotolo will look to deliver an encore on Nov. 8 when he meets former Pakistani MMA champion Ahmed Mujataba as part of a loaded ONE 169 card inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium.
"Same same but different," Ruotolo said while talking about how he plans to finish things against Mujtaba at the ONE 169 pre-event press conference. "I’ll try to hit him with some good stuff, try not to get hit. Not a whole lot changes, you know. I finished the last fight in the first round, I’m looking to do the same here again."

Of course, getting a win over the 'Wolverine' will be much easier said than done.
Ahmed Mujtaba ready to stop Kade Ruotolo's momentum at ONE 169
Ahmed Mujtaba goes into his clash with Kade Ruotolo boasting significantly more experience in MMA than the BJJ star's last opponent.
Making his promotional debut nearly a decade ago, Mujtaba has earned four wins and holds 10 victories overall. Along the way, he earned a stunning 56-second knockout against Rahul Raju and followed it up with a first-round submission victory over Abraao Amorim, proving that he is more than capable of holding his own on the feet or the mat.
Will Mujtaba's experience be enough to hand Kade Ruotolo his first career loss under the ONE Championship banner, or will the Atos Jiu-Jitsu star continue his dominant two-sport run at one of the biggest events of the year?
