Jonathan Haggerty credited his work ethic to his success in ONE Championship.
Over the last sixteen months, Haggerty has taken the bantamweight division by storm. He started with a shocking first-round knockout against Nong-O to become the Muay Thai world champion. The UK superstar later became a two-sport world champion by knocking out Fabricio Andrade for the vacant kickboxing strap.
Haggerty's latest win was his first bantamweight Muay Thai title defense - a third-round knockout against Felipe Lobo. It's safe to say the 27-year-old's latest three-fight run, combined with his flyweight Muay Thai world title, has solidified him as one of the greatest fighters in promotional history.
During a video posted on his YouTube, 'The General' had this to say about his work ethic being the primary contributor to his success:

"I'd say I'm one of the hardest workers out there when it comes to training. If I don't give my 100 percent or I'm not at my best, I'm not happy."
At 27 years old, two-sport world champion Jonathan Haggerty has accomplished more than most combat sports athletes will in their entire careers. With that said, Haggerty's ready for what's next, as several top-tier strikers look to take him out.

Jonathan Haggerty plans to exchange work ethic for a legacy-defining win against Superlek
On September 6, Jonathan Haggerty returns in the ONE 168: Denver main event to defend his bantamweight Muay Thai throne. 'The General' is preparing for arguably the toughest test of his fighting career, as he's been matched up for a rematch against ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek.
Superlek is more than a kickboxer. The Thai superstar holds a promotional Muay Thai record of 10-0, including a unanimous decision against Rodtang. 'The Kicking Machine' now looks to take out Haggerty and become a two-sport world champion.
ONE 168 will be hosted inside the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado. Tickets for the must-see event featuring Jonathan Haggerty vs. Superlek and Kade Ruotolo (c) vs. Mikey Musumeci (lightweight submission grappling) can be found on Ticketmaster.
