Jarred Brooks is in the final preparation for his anticipated title clash with Cuban fan favorite Gustavo Balart.
'The Monkey God' will look to once again hoist 26 pounds of ONE Championship gold over his head on Friday, August 2 when he returns to the main event spotlight at ONE Fight Night 24.
Emanating from the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, the promotion's latest offering on Amazon Prime Video will see Brooks battle it out with 'El Gladiador' with the winner emerging as the interim ONE strawweight MMA world champion.

During a recent interview with FightWave, Jarred Brooks offered some insight into his final preparations for his third-straight title tilt and how he's feeling ahead of his return to martial arts' biggest global stage.
"I’m great man, just getting the final steps in for this camp, and training with Austin Bashi and Sam Keller, so I’m very prepared and happy that I got this matchup," Brooks said.
Jarred Brooks hopes to book Joshua Pacio trilogy fight with a win at ONE Fight Night 24
ONE Fight Night 24 will be Brooks' first time competing since a disastrous disqualification loss against Joshua Pacio cost him the undisputed strawweight MMA world championship.
Before that loss, 'The Monkey God' was a perfect 4-0 under the ONE banner with wins over Lito Adiwang, Hiroba Minowa, Bokang Masunyane, and the aforementioned Joshua Pacio.
Meanwhile, Gustavo Balart has been busy building his own four-fight win streak—an especially impressive feat considering he started his ONE Championship career on an 0-3 skid. Balart finds himself with his first world title opportunity via wins over the likes of Ryuto Sawada, Yosuke, Saruta, Alex Silva, and Hiroba Minowa.
Will Brooks climb back into the win column and book himself a trilogy fight with Joshua Pacio, or will Balart extend his unbeaten streak to five and claim his first 26 pounds of gold?
ONE Championship fans in the United States and Canada can watch ONE Fight Night 24 live and for free via Amazon Prime Video in U.S. primetime on Friday, August 2.
