Jonathan Haggerty utilized a Rodtang Jitmuangnon reference to explain why he's "quite intimidating" as a fighter.
Over his 11-fight promotional tenure, Haggerty has etched his name into ONE Championship history. The U.K. superstar has separated himself by being a former flyweight Muay Thai world champion, a former bantamweight Muay Thai world champion, and a current bantamweight kickboxing world champion.
Haggerty recently made an appearance on the 'Winners Talking Podcast.' During the conversation, 'The General' had this to say about being intimidating:
"Yeah. I definitely believe so. I remember Rodtang did an interview, and he said I'm one of the scariest fighters he's fought. So yeah, I think I'm quite intimidating. I'd like to think so."

On Sept. 6, Haggerty's reign as a two-sport bantamweight world champion ended in the ONE 168 main event. Haggerty suffered a 49-second knockout loss against Superlek, making the latter the new Muay Thai king.
At 27 years old, Haggerty isn't done pursuing greatness in ONE Championship. 'The General' has already turned his attention to what's next.

Predicting Jonathan Haggerty's next opponent
Following ONE 168, Jonathan Haggerty talked about potentially enduring an extended layoff to recover from his loss against Superlek. Haggerty has since changed his mind and announced he signed on for his next fight.
Although it's not confirmed yet, Haggerty's next fight could be his first bantamweight kickboxing world title defense. There are two fighters primarily worthy of the title shot.
Firstly, former 3x ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Ilia Ennahachi moved up to the bantamweight division. In September, Ennahachi established his presence at Haggerty's weight class with a dominant unanimous decision win against former world champion Hiroki Akimoto.
Meanwhile, Wei Rui also joined the division earlier this year. 'Demon Blade' defeated Akimoto in May with a unanimous decision that was disputed by ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
Ennahachi is listed as the number two-ranked bantamweight kickboxer in ONE. With that said, the promotion could be interested in giving him the title shot while booking a rematch between Rui and Akimoto.
As for Muay Thai, the only ranked bantamweight not booked for a fight are Nong-O and Kiamran Nabati. Haggerty already holds a win over Nong-O, making the matchup against Nabati more intriguing.
