Luke Lessei hopes to fight in North America in the near future.
On January 10, Lessei extended his ONE Championship Muay Thai record to 2-2 with a first-round knockout against Cody Jerome. The American superstar has proven he's a dangerous and entertaining fighter while competing in Asia and now looks to showcase his skills in his home country.
In September 2024, ONE made history by hosting an action-packed event, ONE 168: Denver, in North America. Once the promotion returns to American soil, Lessei hopes to be featured on the card, which he explained during an interview with Nick Atkin:
"You already know, man, like, I'm ready to fight in America. I know I got my Midwest people out there who want to watch me fight in America. I'm still putting on for the working man, for the small-town boys. So yeah, American Muay Thai. I'm trying to rep that."

Luke Lessei wants to fight again "ASAP"
Luke Lessei managed to knock out Cody Jerome before suffering any significant damage. Therefore, the 28-year-old has an opportunity to make a quick turnaround and remain active in 2025, depending on if ONE Championship can find him the right opponents.
During his ONE Fight Night 27 post-fight press conference, Lessei had this to say about wanting to fight again as soon as possible:
"Yeah, I came out of that fight untouched, so I'm ready to get back in there, honestly, ASAP. Yeah, whenever, you know, get another good camp in, another like six to eight-week camp, and then we're good to go. Make sure we're dialed in."
Luke Lessei remains the number five-ranked fighter in the ONE featherweight Muay Thai division. The 28-year-old hasn't won consecutive fights in the promotion thus far (2-2 in ONE), which he plans to change when he returns later this year.
