Isi Fitikefu said:
"I want to put on a good fight, and if it becomes a war, I’m ready for war. I’m ready to die in there if I have to. I’m not looking ahead. I’m not leaving it in there – all or nothing.”
Fitikefu, a former rugby player, was a perfect 7-0 when he entered ONE Championship at ONE on Prime Video 4 against Ruslan Emilbek Uulu in Singapore.
Despite a stinging split decision defeat to Emilbek Uulu, Fitikefu never lost composure and proceeded to score a first-round submission win over Brazil's Valmir Da Silva in his next match at ONE Fight Night 9.
Determined to build momentum to a potential world title shot, Fitikefu must face the in-form Tetsuka.
The Japanese standout is 6-1 in ONE Championship and rides an impressive five-fight winning streak.
