Muay Thai prospect Jake Peacock is ready to make a statement when he steps inside the Circle at ONE 169: Atlanta. On Friday, Nov. 8, 'The One' will look to build off the momentum he gained in his promotional debut when he scored a decisive decision victory over Kohei Shinjo at ONE Friday Fights 58.
This time, Peacock will have the chance to show off his skills on Amazon Prime Video when he meets another dangerous Japanese standout—Shinji Suzuki.
Already boasting an impressive showing on martial arts' biggest stage and having 13 career wins to his credit, the British-Canadian fan favorite is ready to bring the house down when ONE Championship makes its highly anticipated debut in Atlanta at State Farm Arena.

"I’m gonna bring a massive crowd with me," Peacock said in an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA. "So I’m really excited. It’s an honor. I’m going there to bring the house down, thrill the audience, and make a big statement."
Jake Peacock hopes to inspire those facing obstacles in life
For those unfamiliar, Jake Peacock is a limb-different fighter. In short, that means he is missing a portion of his right arm due to a band of the amniotic sac that became wrapped around his right arm while he was in the womb causing the lower half to stop growing.
As a result, Peacock was often ridiculed as a child. His parents wanted their son to be able to defend himself, and 'The One' was enrolled in a martial arts class when he was seven years old. Needless to say, he took to it like a fish to water, competing in karate before making the move to Muay Thai.
Now competing in one of the biggest combat sports organizations on the planet, Peacock hopes some see his story and are inspired to pursue their dreams, no matter what obstacles are standing in the way.
“I would want people to hear my story and be encouraged to continue pursuing their dreams, even against all odds," Peacock said. "I want people from all walks of life to be inspired to press on through challenging times. Life is hard, full of ups and downs and tough times, some have it much worse than others. But to stay hopeful, determined, and courageous through it all. We can all be thankful in every circumstance, for life itself is a great gift!”
