MMA flyweight Danny Kingad argues that he will not be the same fighter Adriano Moraes once fought when he challenged him for the championship belt.
The Filipino striker has a major opportunity ahead of him. He is now booked to rematch No.1-ranked contender Adriano Moraes at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, for a potential shot at the world title.
The two MMA conglomerates have some history together, stemming from their first encounter in November 2017. Kingad challenged Moraes for the divisional belt after stringing together a trio of memorable victories at the start of his ONE journey.

Unfortunately, Kingad's winning streak came to a conclusive end when Moraes submitted him with a rear-naked choke in the first round. Since then, 'The King' has zeroed in on becoming a superior martial artist who can rain strikes on Adriano Moraes.

Speaking to The MMA Superfan, Kingad said:
"I feel like I'm a more skillful fighter now, and right now my training has leveled up as well with a better routine. I also have better partners. Then you add up all the experiences that I had in my last fights, the mistakes I made then, I feel like I'm better now."

One reason Danny Kingad remained so prominent in the flyweight division is his MMA ties to the famed Team Lakay gym in the Philippines.
Team Lakay prided itself on being the champions' gym for a long time. It was home to former ONE world champions Eduard Folyang and Kevin Belingnon. But a change was on the horizon. Kingad's teammates left Lakay to pursue other training methods and approaches to improving their game.
Kingad also followed suit, joining his fellow teammates in Lions Nation MMA. He previously told ONE:
