“Personally, I think I’m superior to him in every aspect, whether it’s my performance, my reputation, my technique, or my skills in kickboxing or Muay Thai."
After dominating the kickboxing scene, capturing both the undisputed and interim featherweight world titles, Superbon will be making his second appearance in Muay Thai competition under the ONE banner.
Jo Nattawut looks to bounce back against Superbon following back-to-back losses
Superbon's last appearance inside the Circle came at ONE Friday Fights 58. On that night, he scored a decisive decision victory over former three-time GLORY Kickboxing champion Marat Grigorian to claim the interim ONE featherweight kickboxing crown.
As for 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut, the Thai Top Team product will look to bounce back following back-to-back losses against ONE featherweight Muay Thai titleholder Tawanchai.
However, Nattawut's loss to Tawanchai at ONE 167 in June came with a hint of controversy, prompting the promotion to book a trilogy fight between the two. That bout is currently scheduled to go down at ONE 169: Atlanta on Nov. 8.
But first, Nattawut will look to land one of the biggest wins of his career against one of the most decorated strikers in ONE Championship.
ONE Friday Fights 81 will air live and exclusively on pay-per-view on Friday, Sept. 27 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. You can purchase the event exclusively on the official ONE Championship website.
