Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are ready to go to war in the ring for the second time when they meet on Dec. 21. 'The Gypsy King' has displayed some uncharacteristic behavior during the fight's build-up, with his usual verbal tirades kept to an absolute minimum.
But former IBF champion Sunny Edwards, who recently announced his retirement from boxing at the age of 28, has shared some concerning speculation for Fury's fans about the former WBC champion's mental state entering his rematch with Usyk.
Edwards' retirement announcement stunned the boxing world, as he shared a candid insight into the dwindling desire to compete at the highest level of the sport. 'Showtime' is currently in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to attend Usyk vs. Fury 2, where he was interviewed by Pro Boxing Fans.
Edwards discussed his fellow countryman's change in demeanor ahead of his rematch with 'The Cat', and said:

"Usyk has relished every moment. He's been great value for entertainment, he's enjoying the process. I don't think I can say the same for Tyson. Anyone that's been here all week has kind of seen the most reserved and the most 'lack of ready to sell a fight' Tyson Fury that there's ever been."
He continued:
"I don't know, if you look back at my last camp and with the thoughts that was going through my head as I was preparing, when it comes time to sit there and sell the fight, you just have a little less vim in you if you don't have that same inner belief... I can't lie, I kind of think Tyson's going through the same stuff. I may be wrong."

Tyson Fury shares strong prediction for Oleksandr Usyk rematch
Tyson Fury was handed his first ever professional defeat by Oleksandr Usyk when the pair clashed in May for the undisputed heavyweight title. Ahead of their rematch, 'The Gypsy King' has shared his plans for fight night.
The former WBC champion plans on handing 'The Cat' a beating like he's never had before. During a recent interview with TNT Sports, he said:
"My mission is to smash this f**ker's face right in on Saturday night. There's no chance he can beat me... Watch me go to work on Saturday night on him. You watch it. I beat him last time, on a half mast... What I'm gonna do to him, he won't want a trilogy."
