'The Burmese Python' Aung La N Sang is back on the warrior trail as he looks to stop 'Thunder' Yushin Okami when they go to war at ONE 163. Aung La recently explained that he is on a mission that ends on November 19.
Former two-division world champion Aung La N Sang is happy to have a fight booked as this drives him. While speaking in an interview with ONE Championship, he explained:
"I feel like I have a mission now. As a fighter, nothing is certain until you sign on the dotted lines. For me to get the contract signed and ready to go, it feels like I’m on a mission now."
It will be a tall order to defeat Japanese MMA veteran Yushin Okami when these two meet at ONE 163. 'Thunder' is a highly experienced fighter who made his professional debut 20 years ago in 2002 and has over 50 bouts to his name.

Aung La N Sang knows Yushin Okami will be a major challenge.
Aung La understands the challenge ahead of him, even describing his opponent as "problematic" for him stylistically. However, he is still confiden and looking forward to overcoming 'Thunder' Okami.
In an interview with ONE, 'The Burmese Python' explained:
“Stylistically, I think he’s problematic for me. He’s longer and he has more range as a grappler, and that’s the kind of fight that I have problems with. And so this is stylistically, for him, a good matchup, and for me, I feel like it’s a good matchup too. I’ve been working on my weaknesses, and I think this fight is going to be a great fight for me to rebound and be on the right path in my attempt to get my [middleweight] title back.”
The Kill Cliff FC-trained fighter believes that he has a smart gameplan coming into this November 19 showdown, one that he thinks will "break" Okami:
“I’m going to look to break him. As soon as we touch gloves, I’m going to look to break him.”
Aung La N Sang is looking to get back in the win column and get back into the world title conversation. It all begins at ONE 163 when he is in a must-win situation against MMA veteran Yushin Okami.
