Reigning and undisputed ONE women's atomweight submission grappling world champion Mayssa Bastos of Brazil says she isn't underestimating American rival Danielle Kelly one bit.
In fact, Bastos holds her former opponent in very high regard.
Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Bastos had nothing but kind words for her American counterpart.

The 27-year-old Art of Jiu-Jitsu Academy product said:
"Danielle Kelly's Jiu-Jitsu is very good. I don't have much to say. She was once the division champion and is now trying to regain the title."
That being said, Bastos fully expects to claim victory when the two meet in the ONE Championship ring in a highly anticipated world title rematch this weekend. And this time, she's looking for the finish.
Bastos added:
"I'm very focused on making adjustments to finish the fight, because that's my goal. I want to go out there, put on a show for the fans and come out with the victory."
Needless to say, fans can't wait to witness Bastos and Kelly take the action to the mats in another high-level display of submission grappling.
A win for Bastos here will cement her status as the best female grappler in the world's largest martial arts organization.
