Former two-division MMA world champion Aung La N Sang has spared no effort throughout his training camp for the 20th fight of his resume under the promotional banner. And he believes the hard work will show come fight night on September 6.
That evening inside Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, 'The Burmese Python' goes toe-to-toe with undefeated Turkish powerhouse Shamil Erdogan in a three-round middleweight MMA tilt.
Riding on an impressive three-fight win streak — all finishes — the 39-year-old veteran wants another victory at all costs at ONE 168: Denver. In a clip posted on his YouTube channel, Aung La N Sang said his key to victory will be staying much fitter and dangerous than his foe.

"My goal is to get sharper, and to be in shape, to be capable of a good three-round fight. It doesn't matter which round, first round, second round, third round, I have to be dangerous in all rounds."
Should things go as planned, the Florida-based fighter could throw his name into the world title picture. Three-division MMA world champion Anatoly Malykhin, who attained the middleweight gold at ONE 166: Qatar earlier this past March, is yet to put his 205-pound gold on the line.

Aung La N Sang says staying in the present is key to becoming a better fighter
While his world-class skills have powered him to the top of the martial arts sphere, Aung La N Sang knows that his success was also due to his mindset of being present in the moment.
While some choose to rue about missed opportunities and attempt to fix their what-ifs from a previous contest, the 39-year-old fighter who's amassed almost 50 fights under his belt — a very rare tally in MMA — owns a completely opposite mental game.
He told Cageside Press recently:
"Yeah, I was ready for anything, you know. I prepared well for that fight [with Fan Rong] just like I am for this fight. I don't really dwell too much on past fights. Yes, I learn from it, but I don't really dwell on it too much."
