In a recent interview with TheAllStar, Aung La spoke about how this is of great benefit to him in his own career:
"Me, as an older fighter, I need to keep evolving. Luckily for me in our gym, there's a lot of young guys, a lot of up-and-coming guys. Guys that I could be their father, you know, I could literally be their father, and still those guys have so much skill like very high-level skill sets."

Aung La N Sang keeps himself young and humble
Training with the best fighters that are rising through the ranks allows Aung La N Sang to keep himself humble by testing himself.
We've seen in recent times that he is still able to compete at the top of his weight class despite his longevity in the sport and his experience combined with the willingness to test himself is a huge part of this.
He's now set to return on US soil when ONE Championship returns to Denver at ONE 168 on September 6 inside the Ball Arena.
He will face the undefeated Shamil Erdogan in another big match-up for the former champion as he looks to make it four in a row since his defeat to Vitaly Bigdash.
Tickets for ONE 168: Denver are available to purchase via Ticketmaster.
