'Sugar' Sean O'Malley and coach Tim Welch discussed Conor McGregor potentially moving to middleweight on episode 217 of the TimboSugarShow.
Following the main event bout between Jared Cannonier and Sean Strickland at UFC Vegas 66, 'The Notorious' posted a series of now-deleted tweets where he expressed a desire to fight at middleweight. Sean O'Malley seemed impressed by the Irishman's ability to 'rip lines' and expressed a desire to 'tweet like Conor.'
Coach Tim Welch brought up Conor McGregor teasing a move to middleweight, saying that he'd be a 'big fridge' in that weight class. The No.1-ranked bantamweight contender said the following in response:
"I know, that was a fire post. I need to start f*****g ripping lines. I need to start ripping lines and f*****g tweeting like Conor. That s**t's fire."

O'Malley couldn't find the 'fridge' tweet from 'The Notorious' as the Irishman deleted the series of tweets, as he's done one too many times.
Sean O'Malley beat Petr Yan for the No. 1 contender spot at UFC 280 in what many consider a controversial decision by the judges. Though the bout was an intense back-and-forth affair, with both O'Malley and Yan having significant moments in the fight - many agreed that Petr Yan did enough to win the bout.
"I wouldn't be surprised" - Sean O'Malley's coach on Bobby Green's claims of Islam Makhachev taking PEDs
At the UFC Vegas 66 pre-fight media scrum, Bobby Green was asked his thoughts on lightweight champ Islam Makhachev's win at UFC 280. Bobby Green alluded to Makhachev's ungodly strength and speculated that the Dagestani fighter might have been on steroids from a young age.
Here's what Bobby Green said:
"I was f*****g around on my YouTube right, and I found this little video, and it said Islam had a little trouble with drugs. But I don't see people talking about him. And so, he was saying, when he first came over, that his school that he trained with in Russia - they just gave him vitamins, you know? They've been doing this since who knows when - when you start training. Imagine if you gave someone steroids from the age of 10, 12, 13, 14, 15 - how strong you would be."
Bobby Green's claims of Islam Makhachev being on steroids from a young age made sense to Tim Welch, as Russia has more lax anti-doping laws compared to the US. Welch said the following about Bobby Green's claims:
"I wouldn't be surprised. There's a reason why Russian got banned from the Olympics and s**t."
