Christian Lee is preparing to make his long-awaited return to the Circle at ONE 169 in Atlanta. It has been two years since fans last saw 'The Warrior' in action, but now he's looking to make up for lost time.
As a two-weight world champion, Lee knows this comes with a lot of responsibility, but difficult situations have halted his activity. He now hopes to make up for lost time by defending both belts in the near future, starting with the lightweight crown.
Lee will face Alibeg Rasulov at the State Farm Arena on November 8. Still, as he revealed in a recent interview with Cageside Press, the welterweight division won't be sitting waiting for much longer:
"Yeah, I think I'm gonna stay active. It's been a long time since I've been out on the sidelines. I put in a lot of hard work leading up to this fight, I've still got seven weeks to go, so after this fight, I plan on rolling in right to the next one and we'll see who the next contender is. There's a few guys I had in mind for the welterweight division and that'll definitely be next."

Christian Lee is ready to show what he's been working on
It's very rare for an elite fighter like Christian Lee to be inactive for two years. However, while he hasn't been competing, the champion has been consistently working hard in the gym to evolve as a martial artist.
Alongside his brother Adrian, Christian has made a lot of improvements in that time and he will look to showcase that at ONE 169.
Providing that he can come through this first challenge against Rasulov without taking too much damage, we could see him back early next year up at welterweight if everything falls into place.
