Teenage phenom Nabil Anane just notched the biggest win of his promising career at ONE Fight Night 24 last weekend when he dominated Felipe Lobo across three rounds for a unanimous decision victory.
Considering he just took out a former bantamweight Muay Thai world title challenger, no one would have faulted the 20-year-old if he called for a championship shot outright.
However, Anane doesn't see the need to dive into the lion's den straight away.

The Algerian-Thai prodigy told Mitch Chilson during his ONE Fight Night 24 in-ring interview:
"I have said this so many times. I have plenty of time. No rush. Whatever comes, me and my bro [Mehdi Zatout] will finish it up."
Nabil Anane truly showed wisdom beyond his years against the fiery Lobo. He remained calm and collected each time 'Demolition Man' tried to close the distance.
The Team Mehdi Zatout affiliate kept his guard tight and made sure to counter at the end of the Brazilian's attacks, while also picking his shots wisely.
Moreover, Anane also learned how to maximize his freakish length, using a stifling jab and stinging low kicks to keep Lobo at bay.
Following the win, Anane will likely break into the stacked 145-pound Muay Thai rankings. If he keeps this up, it will only be a matter of time before Anane challenges for 26 pounds of gold.
Who's next for Nabil Anane?
There's plenty of activity in the bantamweight Muay Thai ranks, with the champ Jonathan Haggerty set to defend his crown against Superlek Kiatmoo9 at ONE 168 on September 6.
Top contender Nico Carrillo is expected to be the next man in line, while ranked fighters like Nong-O Hama and Liam Harrison also have scheduled bouts up ahead.
A date with the division's gate-keeper Saemapetch Fairtex could be a potentially intriguing challenge for Nabil Anane.
