Winning world titles is great, but the most important thing for Danielle Kelly is to put on exciting matches.
Kelly is no stranger to consistently delivering edge-of-your-seat thrillers since making her ONE Championship debut at the promotion's 10th-anniversary event in March 2022. She'll look to replicate her past performances when Kelly returns to the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand for an exciting rematch against Mayssa Bastos.
In August, Bastos stunned grappling fans across the globe when she bested Kelly to win the ONE atomweight submission grappling world championship at ONE Fight Night 24.

Now, the two will run it back on Friday, December 6 at ONE Fight Night 26 on Prime Video as Bastos looks to defend her title and prove that her win over Kelly was anything but a fluke.
As much as Kelly would love to etch her name in the history books as ONE's first-ever two-time submission grappling queen, the most important thing is delivering an entertainment match that fans can enjoy. She said:
“I just wanna go out there and put on a good performance because that’s why people watch me – because I put on exciting matches," Kelly told the promotion. "So if I don’t put on an exciting match, or if it’s not an exciting match, then I’m gonna be disappointed.”
Danielle Kelly on Mayssa Bastos fight and BJJ's GOAT ambitions
Of course, if Danielle Kelly can leave the Mecca of Muay Thai with 26 pounds of ONE Championship gold wrapped around her waist, that's even better.
Kelly's first career loss under the ONE banner shocked many, but not to those who know just how accomplished Bastos is. The Brazilian star is a nine-time IBJJF world champion and one of the greatest female grapplers ever seen.
That's why Kelly knows that scoring a win against her at ONE Fight Night 26 will secure her status as one of the best BJJ specialists on the planet.
"She is the most decorated girl in our weight class and below," Kelly added. "So, beating her would definitely put me up there.”
Fans in the United States and Canada can watch ONE Fight Night 26 live on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, December 6 in U.S. primetime.
