Filipino MMA fighter Danny Kingad has established a steady career since turning professional in 2014. But while he is happy with how things have shaped up for him so far, he admits that his resume could still use added spark by way of knockout finishes.
'The King' has an overall record of 15-4, with the last 11 of his wins coming in ONE Championship, where he has been since 2016. Of his overall wins, only one came by way of knockout, which was against Malaysia's Muhamad Haidar in his ONE debut.
It is something that Danny Kingad said he hopes to change as he progresses in his journey in the "Home of Martial Arts." He shared this in an interview with Sportskeeda MMA, saying:
"It's one of the things that I've always wanted because since I turned pro in MMA, I haven't really picked up a big knockout win. I really want to notch more knockouts in my record, so I'm going to be looking for it, for sure."

Danny Kingad will try to go for a KO win when he takes on former ONE flyweight MMA world champion Adriano Moraes on Nov. 8 at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. 'Reug Reug' in Thailand.
It is part of the stacked event happening at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok and airing live and for free in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
The showdown will be a rematch of the first encounter between the two fighters in November 2017, which Moraes won by submission to retain the flyweight MMA gold he was holding then.
Danny Kingad has no problem in change in venue for upcoming fight
Danny Kingad said he has no problem with ONE 169 on Nov. 8 being moved from Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A, to Bangkok, Thailand. He believes that with all things considered, it should work in his favor.
Originally set to take place at the State Farm Arena home of the NBA's Atlanta Hawks, ONE 169 was recently decided to be held instead at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.
'The King' spoke about the change in venue for his rematch with Adriano Moraes in an interview with Sportskeeda MMA, highlighting how it could well be a boon to him come fight night, saying:
"I think it turned out better for me. I feel that it might be more difficult to adjust in Atlanta considering the weather and the fact that it's practically half a day time difference from the Philippines. So I think it's just fine that it was moved to Bangkok."
At ONE 169, Danny Kingad hopes to bounce back after losing in his last match back in January while also trying to earn a spot for a shot at the currently vacant ONE flyweight MMA world title.
