Fourth-ranked ONE Championship women's atomweight MMA contender Alyona Rassohyna of Ukraine is one of the toughest people on the planet.
But not just because she is a fighter in the world's largest martial arts organization. Rassohyna is also a mother who sacrificed her body for her children.
Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Rassohyna described what she had to do in order to return to form for her next fight this weekend.

The 34-year-old Yarost Gym representative said:
"I had to lose 23 kilograms [50 pounds] twice. I had to rebuild my muscles. I had to restore my technique and reactions. I can’t say it’s a sacrifice. It’s just one of the stages that pass."
Rassohyna was last seen sharing the Circle with none other than divisional queen Stamp Fairtex in 2021. However, dealing with the war in Ukraine, as well as traversing the journey of motherhood, have kept her out of action for the last four years.
Now, she's ready to return to what she loves in ONE Championship.
