In October 2023, Tawanchai secured a unanimous decision win against Nattawut in an instant classic kickboxing battle. The matchup was considered one of the best fights of the year, leading to a rematch in Muay Thai less than a year later.
Tawanchai emerged victorious by unanimous decision, this time defending his featherweight Muay Thai world title. Once again, Nattawut managed to push Tawanchai to his limit, earning respect from fans and fellow fighters.

Tawanchai will face Superbon in Muay Thai rematch at ONE 170 instead of Jo Nattawut
In late 2024, Jo Nattawut was scheduled for a Muay Thai rematch against Tawanchai. Unfortunately, the featherweight world champion pulled out due to an injury, leading to a matchup between Nattawut and Superbon.
Superbon destroyed Nattawut at ONE Friday Fights 81 with a first-round knockout. As a result, the featherweight kickboxing world champion received a Muay Thai rematch against Tawanchai instead of Nattawut.
Superbon and Tawanchai will headline ONE 170 on Jan. 24. The world-class strikers are expected to create another legendary battle, with fans and fighters split on who they think will emerge victorious.
ONE 170 will take place inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. The upcoming event can be seen via watch.onefc.com.
As for Nattawut, he is also scheduled to fight at ONE 170. The Thai fan-favorite looks to defend his number two ranking against number four-ranked Bampara Kouyate, who's 1-1 in the promotion after taking out Luke Lessei.
With a win against Kouyate, Nattawut could earn an opportunity to face the winner of Tawanchai vs. Superbon 2 later this year.
