A 'new ' Jarred Brooks will arrive at ONE Fight Night 24 this coming August.
Headlining the event with the ONE interim strawweight MMA world title showdown against Cuba's Gustavo Balart, Brooks wants to inspire other martial artists by changing his brazen, trash talking style with a more respectful feat.
'The Monkey God' revealed that in an interview with FightWave, saying that all great fighters before him had always moved in silence while letting their skills spoke for themselves, adding that he still have high hopes on this match.
Now, he is aiming to gain respect from everyone in his division, in his sport, and also the fans, to strengthen his legacy in the world of mixed martial arts.

Brooks said:
"Yea man, I mean, real 'G' moves in silence like lasagna, and I really do think that I have acclimated enough to where it’s like, it’s a make it or break it kinda deal."
He added:
"There’s not gonna be any more trash talk. I’m not trash talking anybody here. I respect every one of my martial artist fellows that are around me."

Jarred Brooks uses his pain as motivation to beat Gustavo Balart
Another opportunity has arrived for Jarred Brooks to prove himself as the best strawweight MMA fighter in the world, as a new interim king will be crowned at ONE Fight Night 24.
'The Monkey God' will go head-to-head against Cuba's Gustavo Balart in the main event showdown, and he carries with him a deep sense of realization ahead of this crucial bout in his career.
He told SCMP MMA in a previous interview:
"In your whole life, you get things taken away from you. Understanding that and how God can take away from you and you are still sticking with the pain and understanding and trying to find good direction, and trying to keep a good mindset through all the sh*t that you dig through."
ONE Fight Night 24, like any other ONE Championship's Amazon cards, will air live and free in U.S. primetime to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.
