Petchtanong Petchfergus will be "satisfied" regardless of the result at ONE Fight Night 26.
At 39 years old, Petchtanong has solidified his legacy as a world-class fighter. The Thai superstar is a former ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion, a former WBC Muay Thai world champion, and holds a lifetime record of 359-56-1.
Over the last three years, Petchtanong has established a three-fight winning streak in ONE against Zhang Chenglong, Hiroki Akimoto, and Alaverdi Ramazanov. He now looks to add 20-year-old Nabil Anane to his resume.
During an interview with ONE, Petchtanong had this to say about his upcoming kickboxing battle against Anane:

"Well. I think that whether I win or lose, I’m satisfied. But winning is better. Because now I’m 39 years old, but I still have pretty good form."
Petchtanong vs. Nabil Anane is scheduled to take place on December 6 in the ONE Fight Night 26 co-main event. Friday's event also features two world title fights - Christian Lee vs. Alibeg Rasulov (lightweight MMA main event) and Mayssa Bastos vs. Danielle Kelly 2 (women's atomweight submission grappling).
ONE Fight Night 26 goes down inside the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The upcoming event can be seen live and for free by North American and Canadian viewers with an active Prime Video subscription.
Where does Petchtanong stand in ONE bantamweight kickboxing division?
Petchtanong is ranked number three in the ONE bantamweight kickboxing division following his three-fight winning streak.
The two fighters ranked ahead of Petchtanong are number one-ranked Wei Rui and number two-ranked Ilias Ennahachi, who are coming off a win against former world champion Hiroki Akimoto earlier this year.
Rui and Ennahachi have respective arguments for deserving a title shot against Jonathan Haggerty. ONE Championship may also decide to match up the world-class strikers for a number-one contender bout.
In the meantime, Petchtanong has an opportunity to strengthen his presence in the division. With a win against Nabil Anane, the Thai striker could be one win away from challenging whoever holds the bantamweight kickboxing throne.
Firstly, Petchtanong can't overlook the 6'4" Anane. The 20-year-old is unusually tall for the division and presents problems for any opponent.
