If Rodtang Jitmuangnon's last performance against Denis Puric last June at ONE 167 will be the basis of his performance against Jacob Smith in their upcoming rematch at ONE 169 on Nov. 8, the number three-ranked contender guarantees a stoppage win for himself.
In a recent Instagram post that ONE Championship published on Instagram, Smith made the bold statement because he was not impressed of Rodtang in that fight with 'The Bosnian Menace,' as he stated:
"He can't turn up to fight me like that. If Rodtang fought me the way he fought Denis [Puric], I would stop him - 100 percent."

Puric pushed Rodtang to full distance in their flyweight kickboxing match and had his moments against the Thai superstar, where he stunned and clipped him several times.
However, the Jitmuangnon Gym representative still got the nod from the judges with a unanimous decision.
Jacob Smith vows to reverse his fortune in his second meeting with Rodtang with a more refined defense
The Bad Company and Thaifist-affiliated athlete is not only looking to become the new king of the division but also avenge his loss to Rodtang, as the former ONE flyweight Muay Thai king got the best of him during their first battle in May 2022 at ONE 157.
Now, Smith promises to get one back and even their head-to-head score with a victory inside the packed Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
The British star revealed this during his recent interview with Nick Atkin, as he said:
"The defense is the main difference, I feel. I feel like I fought him at his very, very best as well. He prepared very well for that fight for me. The fight didn't go the way that I planned. But I stood in front of him, I took what he had to give. So this time, it's gonna be different."
