29-year-old Canadian jiu-jitsu star and former two-time IBJJF no gi world champion Dante Leon says the difference between his victory over Tommy Langaker now and the loss to him in 2018 was composure.
In that first encounter, Leon says he was careless and 'super reckless', which led to his downfall.
Last weekend at ONE Fight Night 27: Tang vs. Abdullaev on Prime Video, Leon exacted revenge on his Norwegian rival, winning via unanimous decision in his second match in the world's largest martial arts organization.

Leon told ONE Championship after the fight:
"In the first match, I believe I was just very reckless in my first match against Tommy in my first match, I was super reckless. I went for a lot of submissions. I was near on a lot of the submissions. I had a couple of arm bar extensions that were really close, but [I was] just reckless. I gave up points that I shouldn't have given up and ended up losing the match."
ONE Fight Night 27: Tang vs. Abdullaev on Prime Video was broadcast live from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, last Saturday, January 11. Fans in the United States and Canada can catch a replay of all the action on-demand via Amazon Prime Video.
Dante Leon targets ONE Championship's top guns: "I have a chance of beating Kade"
Dante Leon has made it no secret that he's after the top of the heap when it comes to ONE Championship. He also wants lightweight submission grappling king Kade Ruotolo or his brother.
He told the promotion:
"Do I have a chance of beating Kade? Yeah, for sure. I have a chance of beating Kade. In the public eye and for the fans of ONE. I'm sure I'll be an underdog, but in my opinion, and to those who know, I think I'm far from an underdog and be their match with either of the brothers."
