Rodtang Jitmuangnon knows ONE world champions Tawanchai PK Saenchai and Superbon both exude greatness.

Given the immense talent and undeniable star power that these two world-class athletes possess, he anticipates neither man to back down an inch when they renew their rivalry this coming Friday.

In the sequel to their epic first meeting last 2023, Tawanchai will once again defend his featherweight Muay Thai crown against the reigning featherweight kickboxing king in the curtain closer of ONE 170 on Jan. 24 at Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Rodtang already claimed that he'll stay neutral on this massive showdown, given his affinity for his fellow Thai warriors.

But as far as a prediction goes, 'The Iron Man' thinks the fighter who will make better adjustments down the stretch will eventually get his hand raised and leave with 26 pounds of gold.

The former flyweight Muay Thai world titleholder said in a ONE Championship interview:

"I support both of them. They both are my brothers. It’s going to be entertaining, but it depends on how their coaches have prepared them, and on their impromptu performance in the ring."

Fans witnessed a five-round thriller featuring the highest levels of 'The Art of Eight Limbs' the last time Tawanchai and Superbon shared the Circle. If the do-over will be anything like its predecessor, we'll definitely be in for another instant classic.

Rodtang believes Superbon is undeniable when it comes to rematches

Rodtang can attest to Superbon's unrelenting attitude when it comes to rectifying his mistakes.

The reigning featherweight kickboxing world champion's ability to avenge previous setbacks was evident in the home of martial arts, where he was able to beat his former tormentor Marat Grigorian twice.

In the same interview, 'The Iron Man' revealed the tide of victory may shift in Superbon's favor if Tawanchai slips up. He said:

"I also think if Superbon has a rematch, he’d never lose. Tawanchai also can’t take Superbon for granted. Tawanchai has to work really hard and adapt a lot to defend the championship in the upcoming fight. This match is going to be so entertaining."

ONE 170 will air live in Asian Primetime via watch.onefc.com.
