"I would be down for that" - Kade Ruotolo wouldn't mind challenging twin Tye Ruotolo for welterweight grappling title

Kade Ruotolo and his brother Tye have come up in the sport of submission grappling alongside each other. Both men have achieved incredible success in their careers so far and currently reign as ONE world champions.

They have both benefited from growing up with a perfect training partner right by their side at all times, though they compete at different weight classes.

As Kade prepares to compete in a grappling super fight when he faces fellow ONE world champion Mikey Musumeci at ONE 168, he said that moving up weight classes to challenge his brother isn't off the table.

They've always believed that as long as the win comes back to their family, it doesn't matter which brother secures which accomplishments.

In a recent interview with Cageside Press, Kade said that they've been competing against one another since the very start, so he'd be down to mix it up with Tye under the ONE banner:

"I definitely would be down for that. We've been doing it since we were three years old with each other, as hard as we can. But we'll go fight ten times on the big show and all."

Kade Ruotolo has got super fights on his mind

One of the only match-ups that could live up to his next outing is Kade Ruotolo taking on his own brother. For the time being, he's focused on bringing the best version of himself to the Ball Arena in Denver on September 6.

Mikey Musumeci may be moving up several weight classes to challenge for the lightweight crown, but he's one of the best in the world. This is a dream contest that Kade wanted to tick off before he makes MMA his priority going forward and facing Tye could be another on that list.
