ONE interim strawweight MMA world champion 'The Monkey God' Jarred Brooks of the United States has nothing but praise now for Filipino rival 'The Passion' Joshua Pacio.
The two formed a bond after their controversial rematch last March at ONE 166: Qatar, where Brooks spiked Pacio on his head illegally, injuring the Baguio City native.
The result of that match caused some serious soul-searching for Brooks, and he's come out a better man because of it.
Speaking to the Bangkok Post in a recent interview, Brooks says he fully expects to face Pacio in the near future and win, but he also has a newfound respect for his rival.

'The Monkey God' said:
"I think that Josh is an amazing fighter, I think he's an amazing person, an amazing Christian, but this is my realm, and this is my weight class at the end of the day. He will find out hopefully."
Brooks added:
"But yeah man, like I said, I'm not afraid of anybody and I think that I can beat anybody in a certain way."
Needless to say, fans are excited for Brooks and Pacio to run it back in the ONE Championship Circle, and eagerly await for this trilogy match to come to fruition.
