ONE bantamweight star Fabricio Andrade recently gave his thoughts on the kickboxing bout between Stamp Fairtex and Supergirl Jaroonsak at ONE Fight Night 6. The kickboxing bout was put together at the last minute when both competitors' opponents failed to meet their weight for their respective bouts.
Stamp Fairtex was supposed to fight Anissa Meksen in a mixed-rules bout, while Supergirl was slated to rematch Ekaterina Vandaryeva. Regardless, the two women put on a show by delivering a back-and-forth war for three rounds.
After the scorecards had been read, it was Stamp who got the razor-close split decision win. Fans, fighters and the media are divided on who really won the bout, including Fabricio Andrade.

In an interview with The MMA Superfan on YouTube, Andrade spoke about who he thinks really won the kickboxing bout at ONE Fight Night 6:
"I think it was a very close fight. I was there and I had the impression that Supergirl was putting more pressure and connecting a lot on Stamp. If I was the judge, I would have given the fight to Supergirl. But it's kickboxing, and I don't really know how the points work. But yeah, it was a very close fight. Good performance by Supergirl."
While Stamp was good at counter-striking inside the pocket, it was indeed Supergirl who was pressing the action and moving forward a lot. If we account for aggression as the determining factor in this fight, then it makes more sense for the Jaroonsak fighter to beat Stamp Fairtex.

Stamp Fairtex was surprised that she earned a $50K performance bonus for her win at ONE Fight Night 6
Despite feeling relieved and happy that she came out the victor, Stamp Fairtex was quite surprised that she got a $50,000 bonus for her win over Supergirl.
Nonetheless, Stamp Fairtex earned the split decision win and pocketed a sweet $50,000 bonus for it. Shocked that she was given the performance bonus, Stamp told SCMP that she's still at a wit's end on how she'll spend the money:
“I don’t know. I got no plan. It did not occur to me that I would get the bonus so I haven’t planned yet.”

The win was the first time Stamp had found her hand raised in a kickboxing contest in nearly five years. It was, however, Stamp’s second straight win since her devastating loss to ONE women's atomweight world champ Angela Lee last year. In her last appearance inside the circle, the Thai MMA star bested Malaysia's Jihin Radzuan at ONE on Prime Video 2 last September.
Since her win at ONE Fight Night 6, Stamp has expressed her desire to challenge either reigning ONE atomweight kickboxing world titleholder Janet Todd or ONE atomweight Muay Thai world champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues. Stamp has held both world titles concurrently in the past, and it seems she wants to do so again.
Meanwhile, Andrade is scheduled to meet John Lineker in a rematch for the vacant ONE bantamweight world title in Bangkok on February 24. The event is live and free to North American fans via Prime Video.
