Malaysian star Johan Ghazali believes that the ONE flyweight kickboxing king Superlek Kiatmoo9 will not be affected by Denver's altitude, although arriving late earlier this week for his main event tilt at ONE 168.

Superlek, who challenges two-sport kingpin Jonathan Haggerty for his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai belt, arrived on Sept 1, while his opponent has spent a full month to acclimate himself with the condition in the Centennial State.

Nonetheless, the Thai superstar looked calm and confident, which is why Ghazali thinks he has been ready for this headliner event this Friday.

'Jojo' commented about Superlek's late arrival in Denver when he was interviewed in Nick Atkin’s ONE Championship News ahead of his own fight against Mexico's Josue Cruz in the same event.

Ghazali said Superlek will be just fine when he locks horns with Haggerty:

"I think so. I think he'll be fine. He's been in Denver before, so I'm sure he knows what's going on."

With such support from fellow fighters in this massive Denver card, fans will be entertained when Superlek challenges Haggerty to close ONE 168.

Johan Ghazali shares training session with Superlek and Seksan in Denver

Before Jonathan Haggerty and Superlek top the ONE 168: Denver card, Johan Ghazali will face a formidable opponent in Josue Cruz of Mexico, and he knows who to turn to for the best advice.

The Malaysian-American phenom took the time to train with Superlek and Seksan Or Kwanmuang, as the latter will face another legend in Liam Harrison on the same card.

They completed a 10-kilometer run to experience Denver's infamous altitude, and based on what was posted in Instagram, they seemed just fine and even not breaking any sweat.

The full event can be viewed free of charge with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription to all the fans in the United States and Canada. Limited tickets for ONE 168: Denver are also still available via Ticketmaster.
