Danielle Kelly has never thought she would be among the few women trailblazers in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, but she successfully achieved this feat without any doubts.
The ONE atomweight submission grappling world champion is now scheduled to defend her belt for the first time against Brazilian contender Mayssa Bastos at ONE Fight Night 24 on Aug. 2.
Ahead of her crucial co-main event in the iconic Lumpinee Stadium, Kelly has a long list of accomplishments in her book, including surviving the twists and turns of life throughout her career and growing the sport among women.
Recently, she sat with The Few Will Hunt Show in a podcast interview to share her journey and how she initially joined ONE Championship and became the superstar that she is right now.

She explained about her role in ONE:
"I feel like, especially with some like promotions I competed for, I think a lot of times, because I was on the card, like, I feel like I gave those views, and like they wanted to promote the tournament... I'm not going to say I'm one of the first girls that was trailblazing for girls jiu-jitsu, but I think I'm one of the few, especially being in 115. I'm smaller than most."
