Marat Grigorian is ready to move on from his feud with Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong.
Throughout their respective careers, Grigorian and Sitthichai have gone toe-to-toe six times, the most recent coming at ONE 165 in Tokyo. That night, the three-time GLORY Kickboxing world champion scored a brutal third-round knockout of the Thai legend to close out their historic rivalry with a literal bang.
Speaking with Nick Atkin of The Bangkok Post, Grigorian offered his honest thoughts on a potential seventh scrap with Sitthichai.

"Maybe we can do [fight] number seven in Japan again. But I don't think it's interesting anymore because everybody saw many fights [between] me and him."

Grigorian finds himself in a tough spot after failing to win ONE world title fights over the last few years—two of those instances coming against current interim ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon.
Despite that, the Armenian still has his sights set on another scrap with Superbon on martial arts' biggest global stage.
Superbon is still on Marat Grigorian's hit list
As much as Marat Grigorian would love to run back his August 2023 loss to Chingiz Allazov, the second-ranked featherweight contender doesn't see that happening anytime soon, if ever.
Instead, Grigorian is focusing on finally getting that elusive win over Superbon inside the Circle.
"I think Chingiz is already long out of the game. So there is only one person left in that — Superbon."
Grigorian may not own a victory over Superbon in ONE, but he did hold a 29-second knockout win over the Thai legend under the Kunlun Fight banner in February 2018. The quick-fire KO was named CombatPress.com's Knockout of the Year.
