Former ONE strawweight kickboxing world champion Jonathan Di Bella sees a close fight against Prajanchai PK Saenchai in their scheduled title clash this week in Thailand. Di Bella believes so, even though the Thai sensation has extensive experience in kickboxing.

The two strikers headline ONE Friday Fights 68 on June 28 at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok for the vacant ONE strawweight kickboxing world title.

The duel between Jonathan Di Bella and Prajanchai was rescheduled. The fight was intially penciled in to take place back in April, but was eventually cancelled after the former missed the hydration levels during weigh-ins. He was stripped of the championship belt in the process.

In an interview with ONE Championship, the 27-year-old Canadian-Italian fighter shared his thoughts on his showdown against Prajanchai, who is the strawweight Muay Thai king, including how it is going to be a tightly fought contest, saying:

"I think it's an even fight because he has good boxing and he has over 400 fights I believe. So I think he has a lot more experience than me. So yeah, I think it's going to be an even fight and a good fight."

At ONE Friday Fights 68, apart from reclaiming his world title, Jonathan Di Bella is out to keep his ONE record unblemished. He has won back-to-back matches since making his debut in October 2022.

For his part, Prajanchai is looking to add his name to an elite company of double ONE world champions with a victory.
