Jon Jones has purchased a new home and made sure to decorate it with a reminder of his first triumph over Daniel Cormier, leaving some fans in splits and some in confusion. Many were under the impression that both men had buried the hatchet. That, however, doesn't appear to be the case.
The rivalry between Jones and Cormier dominated the UFC light heavyweight division for the better part of three years. The only other feud Jones took part in that comes, in any way, close to the enmity between him and Cormier was his clash with former teammate Rashad Evans.

As Jones moved into a new home, he made sure to decorate one of the walls with a picture of Cormier in tears. The picture was snapped during Cormier's post-fight interview at UFC 214, where Jones originally knocked him out before the result was overturned to a no-contest after 'Bones' tested positive for turinabol.

Fans took to X and shared their thoughts on Jones' actions. One fan jokingly pointed to a third fight between the two.
"Jones vs. DC III"
Another fan claimed it was more evidence of Jones being a fraudulent individual.
"Not too serious but Jones really is fake"
Others even took a swipe at Jones for his frequent transgressions.
"One is a good family man the other is a sociopath who beats his wife bloody in front of his daughters"
Some, though, were dismayed, thinking Jones and Cormier had resolved their issues.
"Cmonnn I thought they were cool"
A collage of fan reactions can be seen below:
The feud between Jones and Cormier reached deeply personal depths, and while the tension has certainly died down, both men will likely always dislike each other, even to a minor degree.
Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier's feud had several heated moments even long after their last fight
Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier last fought at UFC 214. Long after that, documents emerged revealing the UFC top brass referring to Jones in less than flattering terms.
This prompted Cormier to describe him as a 'bad employee,' which drew Jones' response on X.
"Never let a "bad employee" beat you up and take everything from you twice. It'll leave you bitter for a really long time evidently."
Despite the amount of times the pair claim to have put the past behind them, they can't help but chirp at each other.
