Eddie Abasolo looks to get himself back into the win column when he returns at ONE 169 to change around his fortunes.

Though results have not gone his way in recent times, the outcome on paper doesn't do his performances justice.

His last outing at ONE Fight Night 19 in February is the perfect example of that because he didn't get his hand raised but the fight went right down to the wire. Fans knew that they were going to get a war between Abasolo and Luke Lessei at Lumpinee Stadium and that's exactly what they got.

Lessei came away with a split decision win, but his opponent hasn't let that bother him ahead of his return to Lumpinee on Nov. 8.

In a recent interview with Cageside Press, Abasolo spoke about how he thought he did enough to win that fight but has moved on from it:

"I thought it was gonna go my way. But yeah, man. When I'm sitting there looking up, I'm waiting for them to call my name and in my mind, I'm just thinking, 'It's got to be me. It's got to be.' But yeah, I'm still learning the scoring, because ONE is a bit different. So it is what it is, on to the next, lick my wounds and just get back to the drawing board."

Eddie Abasolo will look to win definitively next time out

On his return to action at ONE 169, Eddie Abasolo is set for another matchup that should produce a great contest for striking fans.

He is set to welcome Mohamed Younes Rabah to the featherweight Muay Thai ranks after the former bantamweight contender made the call to move up a division.

Given the fighting styles of both men, you can expect a lot of action in this one but the key for Abasolo is to make sure it isn't as close as last time out.

Winning decisively is key for him here but against a high level opponent in Younes Rabah, it may not be an option.
