Young Malaysian star Johan Ghazali wants to get back to the winners' circle badly after his five-fight winning streak was halted this past June.
And now, he has an opportunity to achieve that when he faces Josue Cruz of Mexico on the massive ONE 168: Denver card scheduled for this Friday, September 6.
As one of the athletes competing at ONE's second live on-ground spectacle in the United States, Ghazali knows he cannot miss this once-in-a-lifetime chance to put himself among the best of the best in the promotion.
That is the reason why he emphasize on his preparation to get acclimated with the rough elevation in the Centennial State. Ghazali shared this experience with Nick Atkin earlier this week.

'Jojo' said:
"So I’m here, 100 percent I put the effort in. I came here about two and a half weeks early to acclimatize and get used to the time zone and stuff like that. So, yeah, I took this fight seriously, and I'm ready."
At the end of the day, the crowd inside the Ball Arena will witness an all-out action when this young phenomenal striker tries to make his case against a veteran in Cruz.

Johan Ghazali believes he has the upper hand on Josue Cruz
Malaysian striker Johan Ghazali will take his experience from ONE 167 as an advantage when he steps into the circle at ONE 168: Denver this Friday, Sept. 6.
Eager to secure a bounce-back victory over Josue Cruz, 'Jojo' knows that he should not be careless or get ahead of himself. He needs to be smart, focused and not overlook any opponents, especially with the skills that the Mexican has.
Although his speed and power will be the same key, Johan Ghazali needs to ensure he will be able to put enough pressure to Cruz and fight better if he wants a victory to climb up onto the ranks.
Limited tickets for ONE 168: Denver are still available via Ticketmaster.
