At just 18 years old, Adrian Lee has a lot to learn in his career as a mixed martial artist. It's no surprise that he would pursue combat sports as both a passion and profession given the history of his family.
Lee has been born and raised in gyms his whole life just like his incredibly successful siblings. However, some things cannot be taught or passed down from others and have to be experienced in order to learn from them.
Following a great pro debut at ONE 167, the rising contender will have gained so much knowledge from that experience alone. He is now set to return at ONE 168 on Sept. 6 where he looks to kick off his career with back-to-back wins.
During a recent interview with ESPN Honolulu, Lee revealed that he's still coming to grips with certain aspects of the MMA lifestyle, including facing off with his opponents:

Adrian Lee is a highly regarded prospect for a reason
Adrian Lee may still be learning how to approach a face-off with an opponent but that doesn't reflect what he's capable of as a mixed martial artist. With his older siblings Angela and Christian both being incredible world champions under the ONE banner, he has a lot to live up to.
At the same time, that also puts him in a good spot in terms of the experience he's able to draw on and the proven track record of success.
His next test comes in the form of Nico Cornejo at the Ball Arena in Denver where Lee will be hoping to put on a show for the US fans.
