ONE lightweight king Christian Lee has been fighting on the global stage since the age of 18. He'll be seeking double-champion status at ONE on Prime Video 4 this month. 'The Warrior' says he likes to watch old school fighters' film to get better.
Lee is slated to move up in weight to challenge Kiamrian Abbasov in one of the biggest fights of the year. The 24-year-old phenom recently made an appearance on the MMA Junkie Podcast, where he discussed his love of studying fights:
“I like to study fights. I like to learn from guys who have been in the ring and who've done well and found a lot of success. I try to mirror their success and see what it is that made them special.”
Lee will look to channel some of the greats in his first attempt at becoming a simultaneous two-division champ against Abbasov on November 18.

Fans can't wait for Christian Lee vs. Kiamrian Abbasov
MMA fans around the world are clamoring to see what happens once Lee and Abbasov are locked inside the ONE circle.
Many have taken to Twitter to voice their excitement:
#AndNew! Bring it home to Hawaii!!!🔥🔥🔥“
“Pound for pound king!“
“#ANDNEW LG!!!! Christian“
“Always a fan, go champ. Sending support from down under Australia 🇦🇺 👏❤️“
Incredibly, Christian Lee is returning to the circle less than three months removed from reclaiming his lightweight belt against Ok Rae Yoon in August. He told ONE that the opportunity to become dual-champ was too good to pass up:
“Well, initially, after claiming my title back, it sounded really nice to take some time off. But an opportunity like this is really just too big of a moment to let it just pass me by. And fighting for a second world title, and a second weight division has always been a dream of mine since I started this sport.”
'The Warrior' is quickly becoming a legend of the sport and he's still just 24 years old. Expect Lee to rise to the occasion and put forth a good showing when he faces the great Abbasov.
Be sure to watch every second of Christian Lee's attempt at double-champ status against Kiamrian Abbasov at ONE on Prime Video 4 on November 18, live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
