British striker Liam Harrison admits that capturing gold is no longer at the top of his priority list as he nears the tail end of his decorated professional career.

At 38 years old and coming off a serious knee injury, Harrison simply wants to get back on the horse, enjoy the thrills of combat again and take it one fight at a time.

'Hitman' shared this revelation during an appearance on the Sky Sports MMA podcast on Spotify:

"I'm not interested in belts anymore at this stage of my career. I'm interested in coming back and enjoying the last year of my fighting. No pressure."

A three-time Muay Thai world champion, Harrison worked his way to a ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title shot against former champ Nong-O Hama.

Unfortunately for the Bad Company star, he tore his ACL, MCL and meniscus in that match.

Now back to full health after a lengthy recovery period, Harrison wants to savor the moment and deliver an epic battle against fellow veteran Seksan Or Kwanmuang at ONE 168: Denver.

When the time comes, Harrison says he'll hang up his gloves without any regrets. He added:

"I'm not bothered about fighting for titles. I just want to get back in there, get the Seksan fight locked down. I've got a few more exciting fights and I'm going to roll off into the sunset because I've done everything that I've wanted to do."

Liam Harrison guarantees violence against 'The Man Who Yields To No One'

Liam Harrison's supposed return fight at ONE 167 last month fell through, making him hungrier to get back into action.

'Hitman' hasn't been shy about sharing how eager he is to trade fists with Thai star Seksan at ONE 168: Denver on September 6, live in US Primetime, from Ball Arena.

Harrison wrote on Instagram:

"Nothing but complete and utter carnage incoming 6th September 🇺🇸 #muaythai #onechampionship"
