Muay Thai action star Thongpoon PK Saenchai of Thailand has hit a few stumbling blocks in his last couple of fights.
The 27-year-old says this has prompted him to make a few stylistic changes in order to better keep up with top-tier competition.
Thongpoon recently dropped back-to-back defeats to Zakaria El Jamari and Rui Botelho, but the Thai star is hopeful he can get things back on track for his next fight.
Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Thongpoon says he has made great efforts to become a more tactical fighter, as opposed to going into his fights guns blazing like he always has.

Thongpoon believes that fixing his style starts from within: "I have to change my mindset"
Fans can certainly expect a newer, albeit much different version of Thongpoon PK Saenchai when he steps into the ONE Championship ring with 'Mini T' Danial Williams next week at ONE Fight Night 26: Lee vs. Rasulov on Prime Video.
The 27-year-old says he has had to look deep inward in reflection after a pair of losses in order to decipher where he has made critical errors.
He told ONE Championship:
"I have to push myself, be more determined, train harder, and be more sharp-witted in the fight. I have to change my mindset completely to regain my faith."
