ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon believes his Thai compatriot Superlek Kiatmoo9 doesn't get enough credit for his toughness and durability. In fact, 'The Iron Man' even thinks 'The Kicking Machine' will be able to weather Jonathan Haggerty's destructive power when they share the Circle this coming Friday.
Superlek will move up to 145 pounds to challenge 'The General' for his bantamweight Muay Thai crown in the curtain closer of ONE 168: Denver on September 6 inside Ball Arena.
While Haggerty has been knocking out challengers left and right since moving to bantamweight, Rodtang doesn't see it happening against arguably one of the best strikers in the world.
The 27-year-old megastar told ONE Championship in an exclusive interview:

"Superlek's strengths are his powerful kicks and exceptional defensive abilities. I've never seen anyone [who] can knock Superlek out before."
We're yet to see if Superlek has an iron chin like Rodtang simply because he's always one step ahead of his opponents.
The Kiatmoo9 Gym star definitely exudes grace and finesse in each fight. Superlek masterfully evades the heavy bombs that come his way and methodically counters with precise attacks of his own.
Even the hard-hitting Rodtang was unable to put Superlek away when they collided in the Muay Thai Fight of the Century last year.
As far as Rodtang is concerned, Superlek will simply be too slick for Haggerty at ONE 168: Denver. Tickets for this historic card are available via Ticketmaster.
Rodtang confident Superlek will end Jonathan Haggerty's reign
Despite already beating Haggerty in the past, some pundits still view Superlek as the underdog in this fight.
The two-sport world champion Haggerty, after all, has looked like a completely different beast since taking his talents to a higher weight class.
Still, Rodtang believes in 'The Kicking Machine's high fight IQ and thinks he already deciphered how to dethrone the heavy-handed Brit.
'The Iron Man' told ONE:
"I believe Superlek has studied him thoroughly and has game plans in his mind. This fight will be entertaining."
