Josue Cruz is leaving no stone unturned in his preparation for a high-stakes scrap with teen phenom Johan Ghazali.
After coming up short in his first two outings under the ONE Championship banner, the Mexican slugger will look to take full advantage of the opportunity to score a big win when the promotion heads back to the United States for a history-making card in 'The Mile High City'.
ONE 168: Denver goes down on Friday, September 6, live from Ball Arena. It features not one but two massive world title tilts and a can't-miss undercard, including a scrap between Josue Cruz and 17-year-old sensation Johan Ghazali.

Speaking with ONE Championship ahead of their flyweight Muay Thai clash, Cruz said he is pulling out all the stops to ensure that it's his hand that gets raised in 'The Centennial State':
“I’ve been pushing my limits during training, and I feel motivated to face him,” Cruz said.
Johan Cruz determined to bounce back against Josue Cruz at ONE 168: Denver
While Cruz is looking to break into the win column under the ONE banner for the first time, Johan Ghazali will be trying to bounce back after suffering his first setback inside the circle.
Running through his first five opponents, including a jaw-dropping 36-second KO against Edgar Tabares at ONE Fight Night 17, Ghazali looked practically unbeatable.
That was until he ran into Vietnamese standout Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat at ONE 167 in June. Though their bout was highly competitive, it was Nguyen who came out on top, securing a unanimous decision victory and handing 'Jojo' his first loss on martial arts' biggest global stage.
Will Ghazali learn from the loss and come back even stronger at ONE 168: Denver, or will Josue Cruz hand the Malaysian-American a second-straight loss and bag his 18th career win?
