Reigning ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK.Saenchai is making sure that he continues to evolve as a fighter with the end goal of maintaining his standing in his division and the sport.
Speaking to ONE Championship, the Thai striker disclosed that he is not one to rest on his laurels, and is working on every facet of his game to stay ahead of the competition.
Tawanchai said:
“Since I joined ONE, I’ve been working hard on myself. I know which parts of me need change. I’ve identified my strengths and what the fans like, then adjusted accordingly. I’d do anything to improve myself, to fill in any hole I may have.”

Such a mindset has paid dividends for the 23-year-old fighter in a huge way as it propelled him to win the featherweight Muay Thai gold last September over Petchmorakot Petchyindee by unanimous decision.
Tawanchai is set to make his first world title defense on February 24 at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video against Turkey’s Jamal Yusupov. In the lead-up, he has maintained his astute work ethic and focus, aided by his team at P.K.Saenchai Muay Thai Gym.
The featherweight Muay Thai title clash is the co-main event at ONE Fight Night 7, which takes place at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok and is aired live and for free on Prime Video for all Amazon subscribers across North America.

ONE Featherweight Muay Thai king Tawanchai PK.Saenchai is all business heading into his first world title defense at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video on February 24.
The Thai fighter has put in the work of being in fighting shape to continue to hold sway in his division.
He recently posted a video on Instagram while in training with his team and is every bit chiseled and ready to go to battle.

Tawanchai will defend his world title against Yusupov in the co-main event at ONE Fight Night 7 at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok.
Since making his promotional debut in May 2021, he has won four of his five fights, including the last three in dominant fashion.
Yusupov, for his part, is currently riding a three-fight winning streak.
