Aung La N Sang is preparing to once again use his experience to his advantage when stepping inside the Circle. There aren't many who can match him in terms of what he has seen and accomplished during his time at ONE Championship.

'The Burmese Python' is a legend of the promotion but he believes that his best days are not behind him as of yet.

The 39-year-old veteran still has one last run in him, and so far, it's gone perfectly to plan, with three victories and three finishes. His next test, however, will be his toughest of the bunch as he takes on the undefeated Shamil Erdogan at ONE 168 on September 6.

For the former champion, the key for this fight is to take his opponent into untested waters by pushing him harder than ever before. In a recent interview with ONE Championship, he gave his prediction for what he expects to see at the Ball Arena in Denver when they come face-to-face:

"I wanna make it a painful three-round fight where I finish him in the third round."

Aung La N Sang has got experience on his side

As a former two-weight world champion, Aung La N Sang isn't going to be surprised by anything that happens at ONE 168. He has been through the wringer and, during that time, has learned a lot about himself, which means he knows what he's capable of.

Knowing and doing are two very different things, but Aung La has never been the type of competitor to show up and give anything less than everything he has.

Shamil Erdogan will see this fight as his golden ticket to the top of the middleweight division, but knocking the former champion out of the title picture will not be easy.

Tickets for ONE 168: Denver are available via Ticketmaster.
