“I wanna prove that I am better”- Johan Ghazali eyeing a decisive finish to end Johan Estupinan’s undefeated run

As he steps onto the big stage of ONE 170, rising Muay Thai star and knockout artist Johan Ghazali is determined to make waves. Eager to show the world that he is the superior fighter, the 18-year-old Malaysian-American striker hopes to hand his namesake Johan Estupinan the first loss of his career.

In a recent interview with ONE Championship ahead of his bout, Ghazali says:

"In the fans' eyes, this is a very fifty-fifty fight, so I wanna prove that I am better and showcase my skills to the world."

Ghazali's skills in the striking arts have been a lifetime in the making. Born into the art and raised by parents who are both Muay Thai fighters, it was inevitable that the young fighter would also eventually find himself inside the ring.

Preparing for his matchup against 'Panda Kick' Johan Estupinan, Johan Ghazali believes that training with some of Muay Thai's biggest names gives him the upper hand.

Leading up to his ONE 170 match, Ghazali immersed himself in the elite environment of the Superbon Training Camp. Here's what the young artist had to say about training under the watchful eye of Nong-O, Trainer Gae, and Superbon himself:

"When I'm there, kicking pads, they're correcting my techniques every single day. They correct my strategy, they correct everything. So yeah, it's amazing. I feel blessed to be able to train alongside these great fighters, and it's definitely an advantage for me."
