“I wanna see how much he can get pushed” - Aung La N Sang wants to put Shamil Erdogan through the wringer in Denver

Aung La N Sang plans to push Shamil Erdogan to the limit when the two tussle in The Mile High City this Friday night.

Emanating from Ball Arena, ONE 168: Denver will see the former two-division ONE MMA world champion return to the Circle for a high-stakes middleweight scrap. La N Sang will look to keep his career resurgence on track as he seeks his fourth-straight victory.

Standing his way will be undefeated standout Shamil Erdogan.

After dropping three out of four, including back-to-back losses against Reinier de Ridder, 'The Burmese Python' has been on a hot streak, earning finishes against Yushin Okami, Gilberto Galvao, and Fan Rong.

Previewing his clash with Erdogan on his YouTube channel, he made it clear that he plans on pushing the unbeaten fighter around and seeing just how much pressure he can take on martial arts' biggest global stage:

"I'm one of those fighters who love to push opponents, and I wanna see how much he [Shamil Erdogan] can get pushed. For this fight, I'm gonna look to push. It's killed or be killed. One of them is gonna happen."

Shamil Erdogan determined to make it 10-straight against Aung La N Sang at ONE 168: Denver

Hailing from Dagestan, Russia, but now representing Turkey, Shamil Erdogan was nothing short of impressive in his promotional debut last year, earning a second-round KO against the aforementioned Fan Rong at ONE Friday Fights 22 in Bangkok.

The victory moved Erdogan to 9-0 in his mixed martial arts career and immediately established him as a legitimate contender in the talent-rich middleweight division.

With a win over Aung La N Sang at ONE 168: Denver, Erdogan could very well put himself into pole position for a shot at current three-division titleholder Anatoly Malykhin who carries the ONE heavyweight, light heavyweight, and middleweight MMA world championships.

However, first, he'll have to get past one of the most prolific finishers in all of ONE Championship history in U.S. primetime.

ONE 168: Denver will air live on Amazon Prime Video in both the United States and Canada on Friday, Sept. 6.
