Speaking to ONE Championship ahead of her first ever title match with the organization, the life-long student of the game believes that she has received the best gem of wisdom from pursuing her passions.

The Brazilian said:

“The best advice I’ve been given was to do what would make me happy and to follow my dreams, and that’s what I’ve done since I was a child. I want to be an example and an inspiration as an athlete and person for several generations.”

Indeed, the tussle between arguably two of the world's best female grapplers will become an inspirational feat for those who are watching.

ONE Fight Night 24 will air live in U.S. primetime free of charge for those with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription in the United States and Canada.

Danielle Kelly works on her sweeps for the first ever world title defense

Although known as a formidable guard passer, as exemplified when she handled Jessa Khan, Danielle Kelly also has a lofty arsenal on her guard.

The Philly girl recently shared a clip on her grueling training sessions, in which she was seen embracing the grind into becoming one of the 'cooler' grapplers ahead of her world title defense against Mayssa Bastos.

Some of the moves she trained include the berimbolo, which could be a great entry for her deadly leg locks, and the De La Riva for her back-take sequences, all of which are unique spins native to advanced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners.

To add more suspense, Bastos is also known to have an artistic proficiency of the berimbolo, which she mastered well as she became one of the most successful female BJJ athletes in the world.
